CTC Asia 2009 - Abstract Submission
1st Pan-Asian Computerised Tomographic Colonography (CTC) Congress invites all interested clinicians to submit abstracts for the Scientific Paper Sessions and Poster Exhibition. All scientific and educational material pertaining to CT colonography is permissible. The deadline for abstract submission is Thursday 8th January 2009. Notification of acceptance of abstracts will be made by Friday 27th February 2009.
Scientific papers are for oral presentations only. The Poster Exhibition is for the display of scientific and educational posters. Authors should state their preference (either scientific paper presentation or poster exhibit) at the time of submission, although the congress reserves the right to re-assign abstracts, originally submitted for oral presentation, to subsequently be presented as poster exhibits.
Instructions for Submission of Abstracts
- All abstracts must be submitted via the official congress website
- Abstracts should be typed in English and need to be in Microsoft WORD format with 2.5cm margins and a minimum type size of 12pts
- Each abstract should not exceed 400 words (excluding title, authorship and institution)
- Abstracts should be structured as follows
- Abstract type
- Authors
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Fax number (if available)
- Address
- Title
- Purpose
- Materials and Methods
- Results
- Conclusions
- Tables, images and references are NOT allowed
- Use standard abbreviations. Place special abbreviation in brackets after the full word the first time it appears. Generic names of drugs should be used
- An acknowledgement of the receipt of abstract will be automatically sent to the submitting author
- Upon acceptance of the abstract, presenting authors are expected to register for the Congress. Abstracts will be published in the Abstract Book, only if the presenting author is registered with full payment by Friday 16th January 2009
